Swimmerbolts

My name is Prabina Talary and l started Open Water Swimming just over 4 years ago. At that time in my circle of friends from running community they weren’t swimming and OWS was non existence for them.
When l did my 1st Tri in 2022 (2nd Nepali woman) Swim Serpentine in 2023 (1st Nepali women to get London Classics) DOCK2DOCK 5km in 2024 there was great interest for OWS from friends predominantly Black & Brown friends.
So l started supporting & helping friends to experience and start their OW journey specially from 2024. It became a community where people every weekend would meet up , OW swim ,support each other, catch up.post swim and most importantly a safe space to grow and push boundaries in world of Open Water Swimming and as a TEAM doing various Open Water events.

There wasn’t any community like Swimmerbolts specially in London 2- 3 years ago where people would meet up, train together and help/ support each other , relaxed environment, ENJOY Open Water Swimming & Do Open Water events/distances that for some was unimaginable.
4 years l used to line up at Open Water or pool events on my own Now l am proud and humbled to have my Crew along with me.
