The Swim

The London T100 Triathlon is set to take place in the iconic Royal Victoria Docks, a venue known for its rich maritime history and striking urban landscape. 

The freshwater 2km swim will set off in a rolling start format from the start pontoon located just outside the Excel Centre. Please make sure you arrive at the swim start area 20 minutes prior to your race start. 

T100 participants will complete two laps of the course and there will be no aussie exit or getting out of the water in between laps.

The experienced age-group triathlon is before the professional race, which means there will be cut-off times imposed on each leg to ensure we’re ready to roll for the cameras at 3pm. Please take note of these cut-off timings prior to registering for the race.

Swim cut-off: Completing the first 200m within 5 minutes, completing 2km within 55 minutes after your swim wave start.

London T100 Swim

The Bike

The London T100 Triathlon bike course offers a dynamic and scenic ride through some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. For sprint and super sprint athletes, the cycling route loops around the vibrant Docklands area, providing a fast and exciting urban course.

Olympic and T100 athletes will  head out towards Big Ben. This extended route takes them past several of London’s most famous sites, including the London Eye, Tower Bridge, and the Tower of London.

This diverse course not only challenges athletes with its urban terrain but also offers breathtaking views of the city’s historical and cultural landmarks, creating a truly unforgettable cycling experience.

Bike cut-off: 4 hours 30 minutes after your swim wave start

The Run

The London T100 Triathlon’s run course will take athletes alongside the scenic Royal Victoria Docks, close to the ExCeL Centre. This route offers participants a picturesque and invigorating experience, with stunning views of the water and the iconic London skyline. 

The course is designed to be flat and fast, ideal for both competitive runners and those looking to enjoy the unique atmosphere of this urban venue. Runners will benefit from the well-maintained paths and the enthusiastic support of spectators, ensuring a memorable and motivating end to the triathlon.

The run course will vary depending on the competition you are entered into. All T100 participants will complete 6 laps of the 3km course. 

For all other distances the course is 2.5km in length. Olympic distance participants will complete 4 laps, Sprint participants will complete 2 laps, and Super Sprint will complete 1 lap.

We understand that sometimes things just don’t go to plan! That’s why we have an industry leading refund policy to help you feel confident in signing up for our events.

  1. 50% refund until 30 days prior to race day (request in writing)
  2. 25% up to 7 days prior to race day (request in writing)
  3. No refund after 7 days prior to race day
