Why T100?

Named after our unique 100km format, T100 Triathlon is the sport of swimming, cycling and running redefined.

2km open-water swim

Your race day’s starting point, a 2km outdoor swim in a beautiful body of water, whether sea, lake or river. Enjoy the pre-race anticipation and feel the elation when nerves vanish as your race begins.

80km bike course

Enjoy an 80km bike course across varying terrain where the distance and route will challenge you to balance your effort and your nutrition to stay strong and have enough left in the tank for the run.

18km run

The perfect distance whether you’re competing or completing, the 18km, multi-lap run ensures plenty of crowd support topped by incredible vibes as you cross the finish line to claim your medal.

So whether you’re trying triathlon for the first time or looking to push your performance limits the 100km distance is the perfect challenge.

Plus, it’s all part of an exciting multi-sport festival, with Sprint and Olympic distances available to athletes at all stages of their T100 journey.

Pro Athletes

#TRIATHLON REDEFINED

The T100 Triathlon World Tour showcases the world’s best triathletes with 20 men and 20 women competing in every event, all racing for the chance to be crowned T100 Triathlon World Champion and earn a slice of the $9m on offer.

Contracted athletes are selected by coming in the top 10 of the T100 Triathlon World Tour in 2024 or through outstanding performances over the last year. Meanwhile additional Hot Shot contracts go to those athletes who’ve earned the right to race through Olympic success or their standing in the sport outside of their PTO World Ranking Position.

On top of that, there are ‘Wildcard’ athletes at each event – chosen by exceptional recent performances, top athletes coming back from injury or maternity or more Olympians stepping up in distance.

The T100 Triathlon World Tour is the official World Championship Tour of long-distance triathlon, organised by the PTO (Professional Triathletes Organisation) and recognised by World Triathlon, the sport’s global governing body.
