WHEN CAN I COLLECT MY RACE PACK?
Race pack collection will be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the following times:

Sprint athlete MUST collect their race pack on either Thursday or Friday.
WHERE CAN I COLLECT MY RACE PACK?
You will be able to collect your Race Pack from Meydan Racecourse. This is also where the Event Expo will be located.

WHEN DO I NEED TO RACK MY BIKE?
Participants MUST rack their bike in Transition 1 the day before their race. Please see key timings below:

Sprint: Friday 15th November: 16:00PM – 21:00PM
100km: Saturday 16th November: 11:00AM – 19:00PM

Participants MUST also drop off their T1 bag during this time. Athletes who are travelling direct to Sunrise Beach on race morning MUST also drop off their T2 bag at this time
WHERE ARE THE TRANSITIONS LOCATED?
Transition 1 will be at Sunrise Beach Dubai and Transition 2 is located at Meydan Racecourse, this means that transitions will be split.
WHAT IS A SPLIT TRANSITION?
Due to the swim start and Transition 1 being at Sunrise Beach Dubai and Transition 2 located at Meydan Racecourse, this means that transitions will be split.

A split transition triathlon refers to when the transition areas between the swim-to-bike (T1) and bike-to-run (T2) legs are located in different places, rather than being in the same location as in most traditional triathlons.

Breakdown of a Split Transition:
Â
T1 (Transition 1): The transition from swim to bike. After completing the swim, athletes will collect their bike, helmet and other items to begin the cycling portion of the triathlon. Athletes must leave all items in their ‘T1 Bag’ which will be transported to the finish line area for collection post race.

T2 (Transition 2): The transition from bike to run. At the end of the cycling segment, athletes dismount their bikes at Meydan Racecourse and switch to running gear at a different location than T1. Athletes will collect their ‘T2 Bag’ upon dropping off their bike in order to get changed into their relevant run gear.
WHAT DO I PUT IN MY PRE-SWIM, T1 & T2 BAGS?
During race pack collection you will be provided with three bags. Pre-Swim, T1, and T2 bags. Please see below what items will go in each bag and when they will be used.

- Pre-Swim:Â Any items of clothing or belongings you wear or bring with you to the start line can be places in this bag and dropped off. These will be transported back to Meydan for collection post race.Â
- T1: Any items required for the bike: Bike shoes, socks, sunglasses, energy gels
- T2: Any items required for the run: Run shoes, socks, sunglasses, cap, water bottle, sports drink, energy gel etc.
WHEN & WHERE DO I NEED TO DROP OFF MY RACE BAGS?
Your race backs MUST be dropped off at the following locations and time.
Pre-Swim Bag: Sunrise beach, at least 20 minutes before your swim start
T1 Bag: Dropped off with your bike during bike check-in the. One day before the race.
T2 Bag: If you are NOT taking the shuttle bus to the start area on your race morning, you MUST drop your T2 bag on Friday (Sprint Athletes) and Saturday (T100 Athletes) at Sunrise Beach when you rack your bike. Athletes taking the shuttle bus can drop their T2 bag at Meydan Racecourse before boarding the bus.
WILL THERE BE CLOSED ROAD?
Yes, athletes will be able to enjoy closed road racing for the entire course.

HOW DO WE GET TO THE SWIM START?
Shuttle buses will be available to transport athletes and spectators to Sunrise Beach for the swim start.
WHAT TIME WILL THE SHUTTLE BUSES LEAVE?
The first bus will depart Meydan Racecourse at 04:00AM. The last bus will depart at 05:30AM. There will be no more buses after 05:30AM.
WHERE WILL THE SHUTTLE BUSES DEPART FROM?
WHO CAN USE THE SHUTTLE BUS?
Shuttle buses are available for all athletes. Spectators are welcome to travel on buses to/from Sunrise Beach.

DO I NEED A WETSUIT?
Predicted water temperature is 26-27 degrees. According to World Triathlon rules wetsuits are forbidden at temperatures of 24.6 degree and above.
WHAT IS THE SWIM CUT OFF TIME?

Sprint: 30 minutes
T100: 70 minutes

The Swim
The Dubai T100 Triathlon’s swim is set to take place in the Sunrise Beach in Jumeirah.
Athletes will be able to enjoy a stunning sea swim, in the calm and clear waters close to the beach. Additionally, everyone racing will be able to take in the world-famous Dubai skyline from the beach, an inspirational sight before setting off!
