Overview
As part of the Ibiza T100, we are thrilled to announce the Ibiza Open Water Swim! Taking place on Friday, 27 September, the event will see hundreds of athletes dive into the clear waters of Ibiza, taking on an unforgettable ocean challenge.
There will be 3 different distances to choose from, providing a race for all swimming abilities; the Ibiza Open Water Swim also presents the perfect chance for T100 competitors to familiarise themselves with the swim leg of their triathlon.
A donation from all entries will be given to Plastic Free Ibiza who work to eliminate single-use plastics in Ibiza.

The Swim
Figueretas Beach will play host to the Ibiza Swim for Sustainability.
It’s a well protected beach where surf is unlikely but the swim will still favour those athletes used to navigating the natural swell of ocean waters. Water temperature is likely to allow for wetsuits so those whose major strengths are bike and run could benefit from the buoyancy and speed of a wetsuit swim.

Event details
The Ibiza T100 Swim For Sustainability event will take place on Friday 27 September 2024 at Figueretas beach.
The swims will start at the following times:
2km – 18:00pm
1km – 18:30pm
0.5km – 18:35pm
Race Packs
Participants are required to collect their race packs and swim hats from Ibiza Port at the following times:
Thursday 26th: 15:00pm – 20:00pm
Friday 27th: 11:00pm – 14:00pm
age limit
The minimum age of the swimmer on the day of the event must be:
2km – 14 years old
1km – 11 years old
0.5km – 3 years old
In the 0.5km event, all children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult and may bring flotation devices for those who do not know how to swim or have a very basic level.
