The Swim

The swim course for the Lake Las Vegas T100 Triathlon takes place in the serene waters of Lake Las Vegas.

 

The course is designed for both speed and safety, with clearly marked buoys guiding swimmers through the pristine, tranquil lake. As the sun rises over the mountains, participants will be inspired by the breathtaking views, making this swim an unforgettable start to the Lake Las Vegas T100 Triathlon.

The Bike

Riders will navigate a challenging and exhilarating route characterized by undulating terrain, offering both scenic beauty and a test of endurance.

The course winds through the picturesque surroundings, with sweeping vistas of the shimmering lake and rugged mountains.

The rolling hills and varying elevations provide an exciting challenge for athletes, making this segment a true highlight of the T100. Whether you’re punching up climbs or cruising along smooth descents, the Lake Las Vegas cycling course promises an unforgettable experience.

Each lap has an elevation gain of 900ft, making the overall course elevation approximately 3600ft.

The Run

The run course for the Lake Las Vegas T100 Triathlon offers a scenic and invigorating finale to the race.

Winding through the picturesque Lake Las Vegas community, the course features a mix of flat stretches and gentle inclines, providing a balanced challenge for runners.

Athletes will traverse well-paved paths, passing by beautiful lakeside views, lush greenery, and elegant architecture. WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT?

Participants must be 18 years old on the day of the event.

Registration will close once quotas are full.

No, the 100km race is open to anyone aged 18 or over who wishes to take part

Sure. In this instance your result will be part of the overall ranking, and not appear in either the men’s or women’s results.

WHEN IS THE EVENT TAKING PLACE?

2025 event dates and times are currently TBC.

The event village, which includes race pack collection and the event expo will be located at The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa. This will also be where athletes finish their race and can enjoy the recovery zone which will include post race refreshment, snacks etc. Please see all key event locations below:
 
  • Race Pack Collection – Westin Lake Las Vegas (Medinas Foyer)
  • Expo – Westin Lake Las Vegas (Casablanca Ball Room)
  • Transition – Westin Lake Las Vegas 

Race pack collection will be open on Friday and Saturday at the following times. Open Water Swim Athletes MUST collection their race pack before 09:00AM on Saturday.

 

Friday 18th: 15:00PM – 18:00PM
Saturday 19th: 10:00AM – 17:00PM

 

You will be able to collect your Race Pack from Westin Lake Las Vegas, outside the Casablanca Ballroom (Medinas Foyer). Next to where the Event Expo will be located.

To collect your race pack please bring with you:

 

  • Photo ID or Passport
  • Your Race QR Code (this will be sent 3 days prior to the event)
  • National Federation Membership Card (unless you purchased a day license)

Participants MUST rack their bike in Transition the day before their race. Please see key timings below:

100km: Saturday 19th October: 10:00AM – 17:00PM

No bags may be left in transition. Bag check (Race Day Only) is location by the finish line.

Transition is located at Westin Lake Las Vegas, in the parking lot.

There will be an age group swim familiarization on Saturday 19 October between 15:30PM and 16:30PM.

 

Please note you MUST have picked up your race pack and be wearing your timing chip in order to take part.

WHAT TIME WILL TRANSITION OPEN?
Transition will open at 04:30AM on Sunday 20th October.
The swim start will take place at Reflections Bay Golf Club, directly adjacent to the Westin.

It is a 300m run from swim exit to transition upon exiting the water. Prior to race start, there will be a shoe drop area located on the paved cart path upon exiting the water. At this location, you are free to leave your shoes inside the bag that will be provided to you at this location. IT is not required to leave shoes, but it is available for your convenience. 
 
NOTE THAT THIS MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO THE FIRST WAVE START AT 7:05AM.

The race will start at 07:05AM with participants going off in waves. The race start procedure will be a ROLLING, TIME TRIAL START from a small dock by the beach.

The expected water temperature for Mid-October is between 73 and 78 F.

 

According to USA Triathlon competition rules, it is permitted to wear a wetsuit at this event up to and including a water temp of 78 degrees Fahrenheit.

There will be one (1) aid station between the swim exit and T1, serving water only.

 

There will be one (1) aid station on the bike athletes will pass each lap, for a total of four (4 times). Pre-filled bike bottles of water will be provided and Maurten Drink Mix 160 (one bottle per person per lap) as well as Maurten Gel 100 and Maurten Gell 100 Caf 100 as well as fruit, sweets and savoury options.

 

There will be two (2) aid stations on the run course per lap, plus one additional WATER ONLY aid station located upon exiting T2. There will be a range of hydration and nutrition options including wtaer, Maurten Drink Mix 160, Maurten Gel 100 Caf 100, Cola, and ice. You must ensure all litter is place in the trash cans provided.

All athletes will have a least 8 hours to finish the race from their start time.

Lake Las Vegas T100 Triathlon award ceremonies will take place by the Finish Line at the Westin at 15:30PM.

WHERE IS ATHLETE PARKING?
Athlete parking is at the self-parking garage at the village (20 Via Bel Canto) on the top two levels. Due to road restrictions, it is best to go north on Lake Las Vegas Parkway, turn right on Strada Di Villaggio, then a left on Via Bel Canto. The address of the Parking Garage is 20 Via Bel Canto. The walk from parking to the main venue at the Westin is about one-mile.
Shuttles will run between the Self-Parking Garage at the Village (20 Via Bel Canto) & Reflections Bay Parking lot. Please No Bikes on shuttles.
