WHEN CAN I COLLECT MY RACE PACK?
Athlete can collect their Race Pack from Meydan Racecourse (Concourse 3) the day before their race. The exact timigns are to be confirmed.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO COLLECT MY RACE PACK?
You will need to bring the following items to collect your Race Pack:
- Your Race QR Code (located in your confirmation email and race dashboard)
- Photo ID or Passport
WHEN DO I NEED TO RACK MY BIKE?
Athletes will need to check in their bike, with helmet, the day before their race. The exact timings are to be confirmed.
WHERE ARE THE TRANSITIONS LOCATED?
Transition 1 will be located by the beach (exact location tbc) and Transition 2 is located at Meydan Racecourse, this means that transitions will be split.
WHAT IS A SPLIT TRANSITION?
Due to the swim start and Transition 1 being at Jumeirah 3 Beach and Transition 2 located at Meydan Racecourse, this means that transitions will be split.

A split transition triathlon refers to when the transition areas between the swim-to-bike (T1) and bike-to-run (T2) legs are located in different places, rather than being in the same location as in most traditional triathlons.

Breakdown of a Split Transition:
Â
T1 (Transition 1): The transition from swim to bike. After completing the swim, athletes will collect their bike, helmet and other items to begin the cycling portion of the triathlon. Athletes must leave all items in their ‘T1 Bag’ which will be transported to the finish line area for collection post race.

T2 (Transition 2): The transition from bike to run. At the end of the cycling segment, athletes dismount their bikes at Meydan Racecourse and switch to running gear at a different location than T1. Athletes will collect their ‘T2 Bag’ upon dropping off their bike in order to get changed into their relevant run gear.
WHEN & WHERE DO I NEED TO DROP OFF MY RACE BAGS?
Your race backs MUST be dropped off at the following locations and time.
After-Race Bag: At the beach, at least 20 minutes before your swim start
T1 Bag: Dropped off with your bike during bike check-in the. One day before the race.
T2 Bag: If you are NOT taking the shuttle bus to the start area on your race morning, you MUST drop your T2 bag on Friday (Sprint Athletes) and Saturday (T100 Athletes) at T2 in Meydan. Athletes taking the shuttle bus can drop their T2 bag at Meydan Racecourse before boarding the bus.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET TO THE RACE START?
We recommend parking at Meydan, dropping off your T2 Bag (Bike-to-Run), and then taking a shuttle to the beach start line.
WILL THERE BE SHUTTLES AVAILABLE TO THE START?
Yes, free shuttle buses will be available on race morning from Meydan to the Beach Start for both athletes and spectators.Â
CAN SPECTATORS USE THE SHUTTLE BUS?
Yes, spectators are welcome to take the shuttle to the Beach Start. Return shuttles to Meydan will be available once the last swimmer has exited.
WHEN DO I NEED TO WEAR BY RACE BIB?
Your race bib must be worn and clearly visible from the front during the run.
WHAT SIDE OF THE COURSE DO I RIDE ON?
Always keep to the right-hand side of the course unless attempting a pass and do not create a blocking incident.
IS DRAFTING ALLOWED ON THE BIKE?
No, drafting is not allowed on the bike.
WILL THERE BE CLOSED ROADS?
Yes, athletes will enjoy a closed roads course.
ARE THERE AGE-GROUP AWARDS?
Yes, the Top 3 Male & Female athletes in each age category will receive a placing medal. The award ceremony will take place on main stage after the race. The exact time is to be confirmed.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT IN THE RACE VILLAGE?

DO I NEED A WETSUIT?
Predicted water temperature is 26-27 degrees. According to World Triathlon rules wetsuits are forbidden at temperatures of 24.6 degree and above.
IS THIS A QUALIFIER FOR THE T100 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS?
Yes, the 100km distance triathlon is a qualifier for the Qatar T100 World Championships 2026.
WHEN & WHERE IS THE 2026 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP?
The 2026 T100 Triathlon World Championships will take place on Saturday in Qatar, the date is to be confirmed.
HOW DO I QUALIFY?
Athletes can qualify by finishing in the Top 10 of their specific Age-Group and gender in the 100km Triathlon.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I QUALIFY?
Athletes will be notified no later than 28 days after the event that they have qualified. Athletes must then seek endorsement from their National Federation and wear their national race suit in order to race.

I'VE QUALIFIED, CAN I DEFER TO 2026?
Yes, athletes must enter the race as normal and then contact [email protected] to confirm their deferral.

Swim (2KM)
The Swim
The Dubai T100 Triathlon’s swim is set to take place on Jumeirah 3 Beach.
Athletes will be able to enjoy a two-lap sea swim, in the calm and clear waters close to the beach. Additionally, everyone racing will be able to take in the world-famous Dubai skyline from the beach, an inspirational sight before setting off!
Bike (80km)
The Bike
The Dubai T100 Triathlon bike course delivers a thrilling journey from the pristine Sunrise Beach, through the vibrant heart of Dubai, and into the majestic Meydan Racecourse, weaving around the scenic Meydan Community. This fast, dynamic route showcases Dubai’s signature blend of modern innovation and natural beauty, leading to an exhilarating finish at Meydan.
Athletes will complete one connecting section from the beach to Meydan, followed by four laps around the Meydan area. Once all four laps are complete, competitors will return to T2 to begin the run segment of the race.

The Dubai T100 Triathlon’s run course promises a thrilling experience as athletes race around the iconic Meydan Racecourse.
Known for hosting world-class horse racing, this dynamic venue will challenge participants with a mix of flat stretches and sharp turns, offering stunning views of the grandstand and Dubai’s skyline.
