Supercars driver Will Davison and pit lane reporter Riana Crehan are gearing up for a change of pace as they prepare to take part in next yearโ€™s Gold Coast T100 Triathlon from March 21-22, 2026.

The pair are excited to be participants in the new event which features the top triathletes from around the world in addition to mass participation triathlon events and a new 10km fun run.

The T100 Gold Coast 10km Run will take in a scenic 10km course along the iconic Surfers Paradise coastline and has already proven popular with competitors since entries opened in October.

Davison said he was excited to be taking part in the Gold Coastโ€™s newest event which will showcase the city to the world.

โ€œItโ€™s really exciting to have the T100 coming to the Gold Coast for the first time and Riana and I canโ€™t wait to be taking part in it,โ€ said Davison

โ€œWe have participated in other triathlons around Australia but to be able to do one in our home city is a great opportunity and a chance to showcase the beautiful Gold Coast to the world.

โ€œThe T100 is like the Liv Golf of the sport so to have the 20 best athletes from around the world coming to the Gold Coast to compete is going to be a real treat for spectators.ย

โ€œThe T100 also has a new 10km fun run which will finish in Surfers Paradise so thatโ€™s going to add another element to the T100 weekend.โ€

Events Management Queensland CEO Ben Mannion said the T100 was a huge drawcard for the Gold Coast and Queensland which would deliver significant economic benefits to the region.

โ€œWeโ€™re really excited to be bringing the T100 event to the Gold Coast which will inject an estimated $20 Million into the Gold Coast and Queensland economy.

โ€œItโ€™s going to be a great event with some of the best athletes from all around the world, complemented by amateur triathlon events and the new 10km fun run which we know is going to be very popular.

โ€œBeginning at Broadwater Parklands and finishing in the heart of Surfers Paradise, the course is known for its flat terrain, making it ideal for those chasing a personal best or taking their first step into triathlon.โ€
