Dubai, UAE: Great Britainโ€™s Kate Waugh will lead an all star cast in Dubai, as the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) and World Triathlon announced the start list for the Dubai T100 Triathlon womenโ€™s race on Saturday 15 November.ย

The Olympic star was dominant in Wollongong, Australia, a couple of weeks ago to secure her second T100 victory of the season, having started with a debut win at the Singapore T100 in April.ย

Waugh leads the season-long T100 Race To Qatar rankings by nine points from fellow Brit Lucy Charles-Barclay in second.ย

With both athletes set to be in Dubai for the penultimate T100 race of the season, ahead of the season finale at the Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final in Doha, 10-13 December, it will be a last opportunity to put themselves in pole position to scoop the series prize pot of just under $3 million USD.ย

โ€œIโ€™ve gained huge confidence doing the T100 Tour this year,” said Waugh. “Itโ€™s been so refreshing working with everyone on the T100 team. They look after us so well which means Iโ€™m enjoying every race and am very happy to have two wins now and have podium-ed at each event Iโ€™ve competed in.โ€

โ€œIโ€™m really looking forward to racing in Dubai. Iโ€™ve heard great things about the course there and always enjoy visiting the city. I want to build on my win in Wollongong to get as much of a lead as possible going into the final in Qatar.โ€ย
