Qatar’s vibrant waterfront city will be the backdrop to this international event, starting with a 2km swim in the Arabian Gulf, an 80km bike through Lusail’s iconic streets, and an 18km run through Lusail Plaza and Boulevard.

WHEN IS THE EVENT?
The Qatar T100 Triathlon event will run between the 10th December until 13th December.
WHERE IS THE EVENT BEING HELD?
The event will be held in Lusail, Qatar. The expo, race pack collection, and event village will be located around Lusail Plaza.
WHAT DAY ARE THE RACE?
- Wednesday 10th December: Kick Off 5k / 1k Run
- Friday 12th December: Junior Super SprintÂ
- Friday 12th December: T100 Triathlon World Tour Pro Grand Final
- Saturday 13th December: T100 Age-Group World Championship & 100km Triathlon

- Junior Super Sprint: 6:30AM
- T100 Age-Group World Championship: 6:30 AM
- 100km Triathlon: 7:05 AM (subject to change)
- Saturday 13th December: Sprint Triathlon: 10:30 AM
WHAT ARE THE AGE LIMITS?
All participants must be the below age as of 31st December 2025 in order to take part:
- 100km Triathlon: 18 years old
- Sprint Triathlon: 16 years old
- Junior Super Sprint Triathlon: 13 – 18 years old
HOW DO I REGISTER?
WHEN AND HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY RACE PACK?
You may collect your race pack in the days before the event from Lusail Plaza during the following times:
- Wednesday 10th December: 14:00 – 18:00
- Thursday 11th December: 10:00 – 14:00
- Friday 12th December: 09:30 – 15:15
WHAT WILL I NEED TO COLLECT MY RACE PACK?
When you arrive to collect your race pack you must bring with you the following items:
- Photo ID
- QR Code (Available on your Race Dashboard & Confirmation Email)
WHEN DO I HAVE TO RACK MY BIKE?
Age-Group World Championship, 100km, & Sprint athletes must rack their bike the day before the race on Friday 12th December between the following times:
- Friday 12th December: 10:00AM – 16:00PM
WILL THERE BE A LIVE RACE BRIEFING?
The live race briefing will take place place on Thursday 11th December between 11:30am and 12:30pm at the Lusail Plaza Stage.
WHEN IS THE CELEBRATION WALK & OPENING CEREMONY?
The Celebration will take place at 4:45 PM on Friday, 12 December. We invite all participants to join the parade and proudly represent their countries as we celebrate the diversity of the event.
The Parade will begin in Lusail Plaza near the Finish Line.
WILL THERE BE A BIKE MECHANIC SERVICE AVAILABLE ON-SITE?
Yes, there will be mechanics available on race day for last-minute issues. However, please ensure your bike is in good working condition prior to attending the race.
NIRVANA will also be providing a paid service which offers the below. This can be booked directly from their website HERE.
- Pre-Race Tune Up
- Unpack, build and pre-race tune up
- Pre-race tune up, post-race disassemble and pack

DO I NEED A WETSUIT?
The expected water temperature during the month of December is approximately 22-23 degrees Celsius.
According to World Triathlon rules, it is not permitted to wear a wetsuit at a water temperature that exceed 24.6. Between 15.9 degrees and 24.6 degrees wetsuit use is optional.
The official water is confirmed an hour before race start. In the occasion of a non-wetsuit swim, calf guards or wetsuit shorts will not be allowed
WHERE IS THE SWIM START LOCATION?
The swim start location is the Lusail Ferry Dock.
WHERE IS TRANSITION LOCATED?
Transition is located near the Lusail Plaza.

RACE DAY CHECKLIST
During race pack collection you will be provided with three bags. After-Race Bag, Swim to Bike T1, and Bike to Run T2 bag. Please see below what items will go in each bag and when they will be used.
- After-Race Bag: Any items of clothing or belongings you wear or bring with you to the start line can be placed in this bag and dropped off. These will be transported back to Meydan for collection post race.
- Swim To Bike T1 Bag: Any items required for the bike: Bike shoes, socks, sunglasses, energy gels.
- Bike to Run T2 Bag: Any items required for the run: Race bib, run shoes, socks, sunglasses, cap, water bottle, sports drink, energy gel etc.
WHAT DO I NEED TO PUT IN MY TRANSITION BAG?
During race pack collection you will be provided with three bags. After-Race Bag, Swim-To Bike (T1), and Bike-To-Run (T2) bags. Please see below what items will go in each bag and when they will be used.

WHERE DO I NEED TO PUT MY TRANSITION BAGS?
T100 Age-Group World Championship & 100km Triathlon
- Athletes must hang their Swim-To-Bike (T1) and Bike-To-Run (T2) bags on the numbered hooks provided in the bag tent. These should not be left by your bike. 100km & Age-Group World Championship athletes must use the change tents provided.
Sprint Triathlon
- Athletes must hang their T1 & T2 bags on the hocks provided next to their bike in the transition area.
WHERE DO LEAVE MY AFTER RACE BAG?
Your white after-race bag can be left in the bag drop tent, this will be the same location as Race Pack Collection when you registered and picked up your Race Pack. This is located on the way to the swim start area.
Please note only the designated WHITE AFTER RACE BAGSÂ will be accepted. No larger bags will be accepted.
HOW MANY LAPS OF THE COURSE DO I DO?
- 100km
- Swim: 1 lap
- Bike: 4 laps
- Run: 3 laps
- Sprint
- Swim: 1 lap
- Bike: 1 lap
- Run: 1 lap
- Junior Super Sprint

- Run: 2 laps + run to the finish
CAN I DRAFT DURING THE CYCLING LEG?
No drafting is allowed i.e. taking shelter behind or beside another competitor during the cycling leg of the race.
WHEN DO I NEED TO WEAR MY RACE BIB?
The race bib is mandatory for the run segment and must be visible on the front during the run segment.
IS THE SWIM A MASS OR ROLLING START?
The swim will be a rolling start with athletes entering the water every couple of seconds.
HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RACE?
Athletes can qualify by finishing in the Top 10 of their specific Age-Group and gender at any T100 mass participation race or through their National Federations selection process. Athlete who finish in the Top 10 will need to receive National Federation endorsement to finalise their entry.
WHAT IS THE ENTRY CRITERA?
Athletes must then seek endorsement from their National Federation and wear their national race suit in order to race. If qualifying through a T100 result, athletes must accept, decline or defer within 30 days of their result.
ARE NATIONAL RACE SUITS REQUIRED?
Yes, wear their national race suit in order to race. If you are having difficulty sourcing your national race suit please see the National Federation contact list here or email [email protected].
WHEN DO I NEED TO WEAR MY RACE BIB?
The race bib is mandatory for the run segment and must be visible on the front during the run segment.
WHERE DO I PUT MY TEMPORARY BODY MARKINGS?
You will be provided with temporary body markings, thee will be used by the technical officials to identify athletes as well as allow athletes to identify who they are racing against.
- 2x number tattoos (e.g.1234): to be placed on each arm
- 1x age group tattoo (e.g. F40 = Female 40-44, N25 = Open 25-29 etc): to be placed on the back of your calf
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T HAVE MY NATIONAL RACE SUIT?
Unfortunately, athletes who aren’t wearing their National Federation Race Suit will be required to race in the 100km Open event.

WHEN IS THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS RACE BRIEFING?
The World Championship live race briefing will take place place on Thursday 11th December between 11:30am and 12:30pm at the Lusail Plaza Stage.
WHEN IS THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SWIM FAMILIARISATION?
The World Championship swim familiarisation will take place place on Thursday 11th December between 13:00pm and 14:00pm.
You must pick up your race packet first and put on your bracelet in order to attend. Proceed to the swim start area where you will receive your timing chip. You must put on your timing chip to take part in the swim familiarisation. You will also hold onto this chip as it will also be your race timing chip on Saturday.

All of your race results and photos will be available shortly after on our website HERE.
