Refunds, Cancellations, DeferralS & Changing Your Race Distance
GENERAL REFUNDS
T100 Triathlon Amateur Participation Events
We understand that sometimes things just don’t go to plan! That’s why we have an industry leading refund policy to help you feel confident in signing up for our events.
- 50% refund until 90 days prior to race day
- 25% up to 30 days prior to race day
- No refund after 30 days prior to race day
All refunds exclude the 4.99% booking fee charged during registration.
Refund Protect
Each entry has the option to purchase a Refundable Registration.* This entitles athletes to a 100% refund if they cannot attend the event. Full list of reasons and conditions can be found here. This can only be purchased at the time of registration and cannot be purchased at a later date.

Pregnancy Policy
Athletes who become pregnant prior to their event are entitled to one of the follow options:
- Free of charge deferral into any other T100 event (current or following calendar year)
- 100% refund on their race registration
Athletes must provide a medical certificate or doctor’s note confirming pregnancy

Requesting A refund or cancellation
How To Request A Refund or Cancellation
You can request a cancellation and refund directly through your Race Dashboard by following these steps:
- Head to your race dashboard – you can find the link to this in your race confirmation email
- Scroll down to the ‘Registration Cancellation Request’ section
- Read the terms and provide a reason for cancellation
- Select ‘Submit Cancellation Request’
- Confirmation – once our team has processed this, you’ll receive an email confirming the cancellation and refund as per our policy
All refunds exclude the 4.99% booking fee charged during registration.

Athletes who purchased a Refundable Registration can make a claim via either
- Their Race Dashboard
- The Refundable claim link here
DEFERRAL Policy
Deferral Policy
At T100, we’re committed to delivering an athlete-first experience. That’s why we offer a flexible, straightforward policy- so you can register with confidence.
Standard Deferral – Same Event, Following Year
- Athletes can defer into the following year’s event at the same location.
- Standard Deferral Fee – $50 USD that can be paid in your local currency
- Deferral request must be submitted at least 30 days prior to race day. No exceptions.
- Entries that have been deferred are ineligible for a refund
- Add-ons e.g. iTAB, Maurten Race Packs, Day Licenses etc are not deferred
Flexi Deferral – Same or Different Event, Current or Following Year
- Athletes can defer into any other T100 event within the current or next calendar year. Subject to event capacity.
- Flexi Deferral Fee – $90 USD that can be paid in your local currency
- Deferral request must be submitted at least 30 days prior to race day. No exceptions.
- Entries that have been deferred are ineligible for a refund
- Add-ons e.g. iTAB, Maurten Race Packs, Day Licenses etc are not deferred
All refunds exclude the 4.99% booking fee charged during registration.
How To Claim
- Please contact the event team via the relevant inbox at least 30 days before race day to request a deferral. In your message, include your intention to defer and specify which deferral policy you would like to use. If you are choosing the Flexi Deferral option, please also indicate the event you wish to transfer into.
- Once your request is received, our team will send you a payment link.
- After completing the payment, please provide proof of payment so we can process your deferral. When confirmed, your entry will be marked as deferred.
- You will be contacted again once registration for your chosen event opens, along with a link to complete your new registration.
CHANGING YOUR RACE DISTANCE
How To Change Your Race Distance
Thinking of upgrading to the 100km Triathlon, or prefer to test your speed on a shorter course? You have the flexibility of transferring race distances within your event.
You can update your race distance directly through your Race Dashboard by following these simple steps:
- Head to your Race Dashboard – you can find the link to this in your race confirmation email
- Scroll down to the ‘Change Your Race Distance’ section
- Select your new distance – choose the race you would like to transfer into and click ‘Change Your Race Distance’
- Complete the form – provide any required information and review any additional costs (if applicable)
- Confirmation – once complete, you’ll receive an email confirming the change

All T100 Triathlon events are qualifiers for the Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championships.
