The Gold Coast T100 begins with a stunning 2km swim off Broadwater Parklands before heading onto a fast and scenic 80km bike course along the Coast’s iconic beachfront roads. You’ll then take on an 18km run through vibrant coastal precincts, finishing in the heart of Surfers Paradise for an electric, unforgettable finale.

WHERE IS THE EVENT TAKING PLACE?
The event is taking place in the Gold Coast. Transition and the swim start is located at Broadwater Parklands and the Finish Line is located by Surfers Paradise Esplanade.
WHAT DAY IS MY RACE ON?
Races will take place on the following days:

How DO I FinD OUT MY START WAVE & TIME?
We will confirm your wave start time via email closer to the event and will be available on your Race Dashboard.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO PARTICIPATE?
Participants must be 18 years old as of 31st December 2026 in order to participate in the Gold Coast T100.
WHEN DO I HAVE TO COLLECT MY RACE PACK & RACK MY BIKE?
The 2026 schedule is to be confirmed. However, all athletes will be required to collect their race pack and rack their bike (with helmet) the day before their race.
WILL THERE BE AGE GROUP AWARDS?
Yes, placing medals will be awarded for the top 3 male and female athletes in each age-group and gender for the 100km and Olympic Triathlon. Age-groups start at 16-19 and 18-19, followed by 20-24, 25-29 and increase in 5 year intervals.
IS THIS PART OF THE AUSTRIATHLON CLUB GRAND FINAL?
Yes, the Gold Coast T100 will be part of the AusTriathlon Club Grand Final.

WHAT ARE THE WETSUIT REQUIREMENTS?
According to World Triathlon rules, it is not permitted to wear a wetsuit at a water temperature that exceed 24.6. Between 15.9 degrees and 24.6 degrees wetsuit use is optional.

The official water temperature is confirmed an hour before race start. In the occasion of a non-wetsuit swim, calf guards or wetsuit shorts will not be allowed
WILL THERE BE A BIKE MECHANIC?
If you need any last-minute help with your bike, there will be bike mechanics in the Event Village, They will be able to perform basic safety checks and undertake simple repairs. Please note that participants must stay with their bike while it’s with the mechanic.
Where Can I Find My QR CODE & WHEN WILL I NEED IT?
Athletes will need their Race QR Code in order to pick up their race pack. This can be found within your Confirmation Email or Race Dashboard. We recommend taking a screenshot of this so that it is ready and easily accessible when you arrive.
I CAN'T FIND MY QR CODE, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Your QR Code can be found within your Gold Coast T100 confirmation email and race dashboard. Having trouble finding your QR code? Simply click HERE, select ‘My Registration’ from the toolbar, select ‘Click here to have your confirmation email re-sent’, enter your email address (lower case only), and select ‘Send Email’ to have your confirmation email re-sent. You will be able to access your QR Code and Race Dashboard from there.

You must have the following items to collect your race pack:
- Photo ID
- Your Race QR Code
- Proof of Triathlon License (only applicable to AusTriathlon members)

WHAT'S IN MY RACE PACK?
Your race pack contains all the essential items for your race.
SECURITY WRISTBAND:Â This must be attached to your wrist and not taken off until you have retrieved your bike from Transition after racing. This wristband will be numbered to match your race number.Â
BIKE NUMBERS: Before the race, stick the three numbered stickers on your helmet (front, left and right) and the other around the seatpost of your bike. These should not be taken off until you remove your bike from Transition after racing.Â
RACE NUMBER: Your race number must be displayed on your back during the bike phase and on your front during the run. We suggest you attach this to a race belt to give you the flexibility to switch race clothing and easily swap the number from back to front.
RACE TATTOOS: These are to be applied to your body, you can chose whether they are applied to one on each arm or one on each leg or one on your arm and one on your leg.
SWIM CAP:Â During the race pack collection process you will also receive a coloured swim cap. Please note that your swim cap may be a different colour to your race bib and wristband. Please ensure you keep hold of it for Sunday if you collect your race pack on Saturday. It is mandatory to wear the swim cap during the swim.Â

HOW CAN MY FRIENDS & FAMILY TRACK ME?
The T100 Athlete Tracker App is Available in all App Stores – it is a simple and easy way for your loved ones to track your progress and times during the race.
IS THE SWIM A MASS OR PULSE START?
Please arrive at the Swim start queueing area 20 minutes prior to your race start. Once participants have checked into transition, they should make their way to the start area at least 20 minutes prior to their race start to join the back of the swim start queue. There a race briefing will be given to you by a member of staff.Â

The queuing system will take you down to the dockside; where you will ‘walk’ into the water individually – one at a time. All waves will be pulse starts with participants setting off approximately every 2 seconds.Â

SWIM SAFETY INFORMATION
For many, the swim is the most daunting part of the race, but don’t worry! Our water safety team will be there to guide you and help if required.Â
If this is your first triathlon, or swimming is not your strongest discipline, we recommend that you position yourself towards the back of the wave. It may add a few seconds to your time, but it will enable you to get into your rhythm and enjoy the swim more.
White swim caps will also be available at the Information Desk for less-confident swimmers.
Please take your time entering the water via the pontoon ramp. Should you need a short time to acclimatise to the water temperature before you start swimming, please move slightly to the left to allow other swimmers to pass from behind.Â
CAN I DRAFT DURING THE CYCLING LEG?
No drafting is allowed i.e. taking shelter behind or beside another competitor during the cycling leg of the race.Â

REFUND POLICY
We understand that sometimes things just don’t go to plan! That’s why we have an industry leading refund policy to help you feel confident in signing up for our events.
HOW DO I APPLY FOR A REFUND?
You can request a cancellation and refund directly through your Race Dashboard by following these steps:

- Head to your Race Dashboard – you can find the link in your London T100 confirmation email
- Scroll down to the ‘Registration Cancellation Request’ section
- Read the terms and provide a reason for cancellation
- Select ‘Submit Cancellation Request’
- Confirmation – Once complete, you’ll receive an email confirming the change and refund as the the cancellation timeline
I CAN'T MAKE IT, CAN I GIVE MY BIB TO A FRIEND?
No, you are not allowed to participate under another persons name to ensure full participant safety. Any person found racing under another persons name will be disqualified.
CAN I TRANSFER MY ENTRY TO A FRIEND?
No, entries are non transferable.
CAN I SWITCH DISTANCE?
Yes, You can update your race distance directly through your Race Dashboard by following these steps:
- Head to your Race Dashboard – you can find the link in your London T100 confirmation email
- Scroll down to the ‘Change Your Race Distance’ widget
- Select your new distance and choose the race you’d like to transfer into and click ‘Change Your Race Distance’.
- Complete the form and provide any updated information and review any additional costs (if applicable).
- Confirmation – once complete, you’ll receive an email confirming the change.
The deadline to switch distances is Sunday 15th February.
